GLG is unique in that it represents a large number of new member firms admitted to the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE"), as well as a large number of all the independent members and member firms doing business on the floor of the NYSE, the floor of the American Stock Exchange ("AMEX"), as well as members of the National Association of Securities Dealers ("NASD"), other Exchanges, and firms seeking membership to these Exchanges. The services GLG provides to its securities clientele include, but are not limited to, a full range of securities and corporate related counsel, representation in securities arbitrations and disciplinary/enforcement actions at the NYSE, AMEX, the NASD and other Exchanges, registration and compliance services for broker-dealers, investment advisors and secondary financing for public companies. Because of the needs of our extensive clientele outside the securities industry, GLG also provides general legal services including but not limited to: business start-ups, business sales and purchases, corporate counsel, general and commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, employment related issues, real estate transactions, entertainment law, negligence cases and trusts and estates. GLG also represents start up companies in all phases of corporate and finance development and representing public companies with the preparation and filing of reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission. GLG has represented clients in private placement transactions that have raised hundreds of millions of dollars.
